SharePhilips already came out swinging this year when they announced the 6000 Series 3DTV and some Blu-Ray 3D action for US customers. Color me surprised to learn that Philips wasn’t quite finished showing off their US bound 3D lineup.
According to Richard Lawler over at Engadget, Philips also plans to bring that sweet-looking 21:9 ultra-widescreen cinema TV to the US in the second half of this year. We’ve been drooling over it ever since they hinited it would come stateside in 2010, but it looks like they won’t be the only game in town. Better late than never, I suppose.
