Most other countries have to pay extra for 3D glasses. The production companies will soon stop providing free glasses in the US as well. Most people think they are paying the higher ticket price for the glasses. Your actually paying for the extra cost of playing the movie in 3D. Your getting the glasses for free. Sony and Fox are already talking about it and Sony in October of last year announced that they would soon stop paying for 3D glasses.
